Vintage fits I wore in Tuscany

I love new things but I am obsessed with the old. Finding something special I can find potential in sparks every once of creativity and excitement within me and there’s no better occasion than a trip to inspire this in me. For our Tuscany adventure we hit three very different vacations; beach, city and countryside and I am happy to report I loved them all. Here’s what I came up with.

Under the Tuscan Sun

I found this chic yellow tweed blazer with gold buttons originally in a skirt set to wear sightseeing around Florence. However, I decided to instad pair it with some structured white pants and my burgundy tassel belt for something more sophisticated at sunset. The colors were perfect in this light, with these marigolds in full bloom and accented my mocktail spritz perfectly.

Sequin Rainbow Scalloped Duster

I stumbled upon this sparkly duster while browsing for somthing else and it was too fun to pass up. Heavy and beaded, perfect for a colorful and chic beach town like Forte dei Marmi. It was a perfect outfit for our sunset aperitivo and dinner, can't wait to wear it again the next time I am in a tropical place.

Chinoiserie Brocade Jacket

I know these brocade, jacqaurd and floral jackets have become more fashionable lately, however, I am happy to say I've been obsessed with them forever. I love the ease of a jacket and a beautiful print I could easily wallpaper my entire house with! I had fun wearing this one inside a beautiful palazzo in Siena, the frescoed ballroom served as the perfect backdrop for me to imagine myself a principessa for ten minutes!

Vintage Oscar Mini Dress

I've had this belted mini dress in my closet for about six years now waiting for the right opportunity to wear it. I found in year ago and after having the dress altered to fit better, made a headband out of the extra fabric. This festive lunch at Castello di Casole felt like the right occasion.
