The Après Edit

This year I spent Valentine's Day with Arthur and Parker in Mammoth and had the best time skiing in the California sunshine, après-ing each afternoon in the hot tub and staying cozy in the village. My full recs for Mammoth are soon to come in a city guide but before then I wanted to share fit links and more importantly some details about what I love wearing for ski vacations. Here are some of the things I've come to love each season, enjoy! xx

My Favorite Ski Fits
I feel most stylish with fitted ski pants and a belted ski jacket. Personally, I hate the bulkiness of most ski clothing and prefer something more sleek as I chassé down the mountain! So I typically wear a thermal layer unless it's super warm and cute après sweater underneath my jacket and pants so I am ready for champs or spike hot cocoa at a moments notice!

More Options

Après After Dark
Warm can still be fun! I love layering monochromatic knits, sequins, fur! Tights, high boots and long warm coats make skirts and dresses more feasible. Even if going all black or all cream, I like to mix textures and add something luxe like sherling, fur, or suede. Muffs as purses make everyhting more fab, even if they don't actually hold much!

Cozy Dinner
For those more relaxed dinners I still want a little flair and it's a perfect excuse to wear my monogrammed Kemo Sabo cowboy hat. A matching cream turtleneck and fur cuff boucle coat is easy and instantly chic!

Après Ski Spa
I acutally might prefer this kind of après more than the cocktail version! What could be more rewarding after a big day on the mountain, either right away or the day after. A hot tub, massage, fireside chat in a big fluffy robe— I'm in. Thanks to my hubby I managed to hit the hot tub and sauna every night before dinner and it was a game changer—I felt absolutely amazing. Each afternoon I threw on my big warm long shearling coat over my bikini and it was honestly the most luxuriest part of the trip!

Chic Ski Sweaters
Where practicallity meets fashion, it's manadatory to have a cute ski sweater for warmth and après style! I love color and something almost bordering kitschy! There are so many good options out there but nothing will ever beat my Champagne & Montagne from my favorite ski sweater designer.
