Chic Places: Capitol And Irene Neuwirth At The Brentwood Country Mart

The dressing room of my dreams… would most certainly include all of the above elements. An ornate, vintage like folding screen, one of a kind hand painted chinoiserie florals by de Gournay, a plush colorful sofa with piping and the most beautiful floral arrangement in a lovely shade of pink. Fortunately, the new Capitol store at the Brentwood Country Mart has delivered all my design goals, in addition to my aspirational wardrobe ones as well. A friend of mine from North Carolina told me she had been requesting the Charlotte luxury shop head west for some time now. And as fate would have it, Capitol landed perfectly into one of my favorite places in Los Angeles, The Brentwood Country Mart!

In addition to the perfectly curated clothing and accessories, Irene Neuwirth has brought her beautiful jewelry into the boutique as a partner, as an addition to her Melrose Place flagship. Once again, I am back in design heaven, with perhaps the most ethereal glass case I have ever seen, with her beloved designs sitting amongst gorgeous flowers and butterflies.

The stunning florals and deeply saturated colors continue throughout the store to my interior delight. This rug in particular, validated my hypothesis that I, and my shoes, both fit right in. I mean could there be a bigger sign that I am in HEAVEN?! As for the clothing, racks are full of bright, bold patterns and colors with ruffle details and all the embellishments so perfectly executed that it’s clear only a discerning eye of a southern  belle could pull together. Southern women seem to have some of the most clear cut aesthetic when it comes to feminine details. The price points are very high, so this will likely be my window shop inspiration destination until the next sale.

Couldn’t help snapping a little bow-mance before leaving my dream closet.
