It’s been quite a few summers since I was last on Capri island yet the charm of this coveted spot on the Mediterranean has not worn off one bit. Especially as the world reopens, the word “holiday” instantly brings me back to living in Verona, Italy where Italians and most other European countries take summer seriously. And if you’re not familiar with Capri, it’s a small island right off the Amalfi Coast, known for it’s proximity to the more well known Positano. With breathtaking views, incredible beach culture and an uber chic set of return visitors Capri is one of the many highly sought after destinations to fully embrace European summer!

But if you’re like me and a trip to this sun drenched destination just isn’t in the cards this summer no need to fret. Just embrace the spirt(s) with a spritz or wear lemons on your ears like me and pretend you’re soaking up the sun on your first night out sans baby.
My friend just happened to choose the most Italian inspired wedding venue I’ve seen in Malibu, Cielo Farms. Therefore I couldn’t resist taking the opportunity to fully embrace my desire for those beautiful Mediterranean blues, an intimate dinner set amongst a Tuscan style barn and of course, lemons!

They say find the earrings and the rest will follow? Well, at least I do. After obsessing over these rattan lemon statement studs making me think of a creamy lemon pasta being served under a bed of lemon trees, I found a dress to bring my limoncello inspired dream to life!
Fortunately I found the most flattering cocktail dress to match in a wonderful blue and white pattern that appears plucked straight from a Positano tile.

Cin cin!
