Birthday Dinner Table
It’s my birthdayyyy…table! This year I waned to do a little less then last year’s full on beach party and so I settled on a pretty table at a nice restaurant for just myself and few good friends. And yes, my idea of “doing less” is decorating a table. Enjoy. The Place: there were many options, but ultimately Georgie’s was at the top of my list! I’ve been for coffee and brunch at their adorable café setup, I also am obsessed with their blue and white plates. There were a fe

Summer Travel Inspiration
Have you heard… I’m going to Europe and Israel this summer and as you can imagine, I’m BEYOND excited! I haven’t been back to either since college and despite the many other places I’d like to travel to, I just couldn’t resist the urge to head back to some of the most magical spots in the world. Some destinations on the list: the Amalfi coast, Portugal, the French Rivera and Tel Aviv! In major anticipation I’ve been planning away sites to see, food to eat, places to capture s

Rest And Relaxation In Cancun
She needs a vacation…” I must say, traveling for me has typically been about seeing, doing and creating… blog content of course. I rarely consider the rest and rejuvenation aspect of vacation, despite that being one of main reasons people take them. I constantly feel pressure to keep moving and doing, so this is something I really want to work on and be more mindful of. So when I found myself worrying about captions and emails and my google calendar invites while laying on

SupperClub: Spring
Roku Sunset , West Hollywood I have to admit, I was pretty sour about trying this spot after it replaced one of my favorite spaces and restaurants, Rivabella, which is sadly no longer. But I came randomly with my girlfriends and I was very pleasantly surprised. Starting from the golden pineapple lamp stands to the dry ice cocktail with a pink hibiscus flower, I was in love before we even sat down to eat. They also gave out free sake shots and had an amazing DJ who set the sce

Bazaar Mar Miami
Oh, why hello heaven… I stumbled across this lovely slice of blue and white mastery during my research for my Miami trip. And yes I do research before trips, who doesn’t? It was quite a mystery figuring out where this was until I realized there were not just one, but two SLS hotels in Miami, this one being the newly opened SLS Brickell just 15 minutes away from south beach. It then became my main priority to find this majestic piece of art, and here it is. Appropriately named

The Miami Guide
Mi amor Miami and who would have thought! To be honest I have always written this sexy beach city off until my dear friend planned her bachelorette party here and I finally experienced the first of hopefully many trips. I loved the bright colors and vibrant culture of all the beautiful people and places. My time here was quite limited, and so this is definitely a preliminary guide, but please reach out if you have any other recommendations! I can’t wait to get back! Enjoy!

Riviera Palm Springs
A few weekends back when I was in Palm Springs I stumbled upon this lovely little slice of design heaven. Per usual Palm Springs the bright, 70s inspired resort destination does not disappoint with many wonderful pockets of color, texture and aesthetics that will get you in the mood for a poolside martini after tennis. Some of my favorite spaces I managed to capture quickly, enjoy! Perhaps my favorite combination of color and texture here with the pink, green, navy, velvet a

Palm Springs Dream At Villa Golightly
The bright doors on mid-century modern homes, endless green golf courses and sunshine filed days best remedied by cool blue pools and (spiked) Arnold Palmers. It’s hard to ignore the 70’s inspired design aesthetic in this small dessert city just 100 miles east of Los Angeles. This past weekend I attended the Christopher Kennedy Compound Modernism Week Show House , which is an opportunity for decorators to create their own space during Modernism Week , a celebration of desi

The Most Romantic Restaurants In Los Angeles
As much as I love supperclubbing with friends, I can’t help but think about how beautiful some of these places become at night with someone special. For me, adding the sound of ocean waves or some twinkle lights to a tree is enough to make me swoon. But I’ve noticed a certain essence to these places that makes for a little something extra special. There are so many great places to eat out in this city, but here are the ones I specifically have fallen for in Los Angeles. Enjo

Solvang California
I love small towns… And I have been meaning to check out Solvang, a quaint little Dutch town, for quite some time. Last week my mother was in town for the holidays and so we took a small trip up to Santa Barbara and made a quick stop as it’s only 45 minutes northeast of Santa Barbara, before heading to my favorite place in Montecito. We didn’t have too much time so we literally just walked up and down the main city street off Copenhagen Drive, after getting some recommenda

Ladurée In Los Angeles
Paris has finally arrived in Los Angeles… well, at least a very lovely reminder of it. I’m so excited to finally have a Ladurée near me, and two locations to frequent in West Hollywood at the Grove and one in Beverly Hills coming soon. The most famous and delicious Parisian macaron maker loved around the world has landed, Blair Waldorf would be proud. Enjoy! Of course I made sure to be one of the first in line when they opened, and it did not disappoint! A small, but qua

La's Most Instagram-Able Places
As an avid Instagram-mer I am always on the lookout for great spots to shoot blog content or bring friends from out of town for some cool photos. I always keep running lists on my phone to remember all the spots I want to visit and I finally found an app called WannaGO that lets me keep them on organized lists and more importantly see them on a map! It’s so helpful when I’m driving around trying to find somewhere to grab lunch or coffee. And I even made lists of places I alr

Milk Launch Party
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of celebrating the MILK makeup launch with an old high school friend, former co-cheerleader and now stellar NYC blogger at Open Haus Co and creative at MILK . Aside from the gorgeous space at the MILK studio in Los Angeles, I got to sample all the new beauty goods, plus some stellar rosé and stickers. { me & my friend samantha from what would kiki wear at the milk launch } To be honest, I’m not super fluent in makeup use, but I will say

A New Leaf On Abbot Kinney
This past weekend I had the pleasure of finding another wonderful slice of food heaven on the hippie chic Abbot Kinney in Venice . I originally came across Greenleaf’s uber accessible healthy meals to go when I worked out at Equinox and they conveniently sold them at the Earthbar. I still love grabbing them for lunch at work since they are so fulfilling without feeling heavy after or falling flat on taste/heartiness. Naturally I was happy to find out a free standing restau
