The "M" List
I found this book while searching for a potential gift for a friend, it will definitely be on my “add to coffee table” list…these leopard print Christian Louboutin wedge-pumps will go great with fall colors or any minimalist look…and the lamp , just gives a unexpected edge to any space, especially one with lots of color! I will always be drawn to the zig zag print made famous by Italian design house Missoni and this pillow is half the price from Urban Outfitters , and will s

Covergirl
As promised, some more notable magazine covers. Some new, some old, and of course, all remarkably chic… [emily blunt via the very simon g] What makes this image so powerful, is the balance between every element. The color, fashion and look are all very bold, yet all equally relevant. In other words, it’s a “good fit” and really sends a message to me, that Emily Blunt is strong, sharp, and stylish… [twiggy via kute clothes blog] This cover of Twiggy for Paris Vogue is innoce

Princess
Karl Lagerfeld creates magic for Chanel Couture, Spring 2012… I could be a princess for this dress…I’d even take lady in waiting… Growing up pink and purple were my favorite colors, obviously not much has changed… I love circular necklines, a retro trend that I consider timeless, just like a Chanel suit… Even this more neutral number emulates nothing short of a couture fantasy, it swept me off my feet! Fashion is Fantasy, and the very best kind… M. Gisele {all images via sty

Tiffany’s
While in the midst of midterms, BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S has become my escape…Nothing is quite as comforting as being consumed in the unconventional romance, at best, that eternalized Hepburn’s style… In my opinion, the story is summed up best in these shots Tiffany love, not Tiffany rings… -M. The Mane Attraction
As the holidays are quickly approaching, so are parties, parties, and more parties! Let’s get some BEAUTIFUL hair-inspiration… [image via allure] This side chignon was a hit at Chanel this Fall, and I can definitely see why..it’s relaxed, soft, and sweet, but the bun still makes it a bit more sophisticated …. [image via allure] Nina Ricci played into the loose and subtle glamour with this innocent half up, half down hairdo…the soft curls and small volume at the top finish o

Dream Estate
Those who live in glass houses…are extremely fortunate! If I had 9.5 million dollars, this would certainly be a top choice on my list of DREAM ESTATES… Located in Montauk, New York, this East hampton estate is stunningly unique…I love seeing modern homes in nature rich areas, it makes for a beautiful contrast between what is now and what has always been… From the outside it appears to be a modest size, yet it has four bedrooms and is a little under 5,000 square feet… Designed

Currently Craving
A little wish list of mine has been accumulating via “research” for this blog, and here are some of the front runners…. [via j.crew] I can never have enough basic button down blouses, they are really easy to pair with jeans for something casual and can be dressed up for work with a pencil skirt and a blazer… This handbag is bold and unique, and of course I am a sucker for any velvet items…the jacket below has a classic, comfy feel to it and would look great with any long slee

Arrested Style
The Gisele Chic JUDGE, rules Lindsey Lohan as not guilty of a fashion crime…nice to see this suspect doing style some justice! [lindsay lohan via facebook] Love the hair (above), very whimsical and sweet, paired with the polka dot shift, this girl looks quite innocent. The billowy, white skirt (below), with classic pleating is summery and girly, and also a good hemline choice for a court appearance… [lindsay lohan via posh24] When in doubt (or in legal trouble), wear black an

Elie Saab proves brilliant once again in his Spring 2012 ready-to-wear collection; as an advocate of color, this RAINBOW fancies my taste…. Breathtaking and ethereal glamour is a standard for Elie Saab, most often in neutrals and metallics, its nice to see bright spring shades! The green is my absolute favorite because the color is bold, the shape is simple, and the fabric is luxe! Who needs to go over the rainbow…- M. Gisele {all images for Elie Saab via [ style.com ] }

The Pink Cure
It may be the last day of breast cancer awareness month, but certainly not the last day of the struggle to find a cure for breast cancer. As the granddaughter of a women defeated by breast cancer, the cause will always be near my heart… Here are some pink inspired paintings that I hope can remind us the end of this disease is near, but the everlasting strength within those who have fought for themselves, others and the future will always be remembered… [pink strip cloud by Br

Street Chic
Fashion designers will always be displaying artwork on the runway with each line collectively, but how those pieces are interpreted individually speaks volumes for what it represents. Fashion provides the paint and canvas, but STYLE is the masterpiece in the end… Lately I have been leaning towards simple, black dominated, ensembles and I think its because I am trying to transcend from Summer to Fall still... Black is done best with a pop of color, this one (above) works well!

Honored Style
This past Sunday night was my friend’s last night visiting Los Angeles, so Emma and I took her to the famous Rodeo Drive….. We saw the set up for Rodeo Drive’s Walk of Style Awards, however the pink carpet and step and repeat in front of the flagship Missoni store did not seem to spark our interest enough to stay… What terrible judgement! Missoni, my favorite Italian Designer, was honored for it’s major contribution to the progression of Fashion as an art, as well as supermod

Here is some GISELE CHIC inspiration…. By far my favorite fur look! So simply chic and clean! Just the right touch of luxe with the fur wrap, soft black leather handbag, and velvety suede peep toe pumps..(I have a very similar pair and LOVE them!) The black tights

To start off, Elie Tahari hit the spot with an array of beautiful color ensembles, let’s take a look… As much as I am not a fan of all-white (sans bridal) this white is edgy, cool, and subtlety glamourous! I love the metallic accents and of course, the fur jacket A see-through white blouse is always okay in my book, as long as it’s made tasteful with pants or a modest hemline
