The Provence Guide
Provence is a charming area in the South of France, part of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, just a couple hours drive inland from the glitzy coastline commonly referred to as the Côte d’Azur. I’ve been dreaming of a Provençal holiday… Known for it’s lavender fields, fresh cheeses, jams, honey and olive groves responsible for pinky rosé wine. Here you will find wicker baskets topped to brim with housewares and vegetables from the local market, boulangeries with warm bag

A Magical Stay at L’Hôtel Particulier de Tingry, Luberon Provence
Honey, I’m home. I’ve been wanting to come to Provence forever and it’s truly now become one of my forever favorite places. Provence is a charming region in the South of France made up of many hilltop villages, just a couple hours drive inland from the glitzy coastline of the more famous Côte d’Azur. Because there are so many little towns to choose from, you really can’t go wrong here but I am happy to report this stunning piece of property checked all my boxes. Provencal cha

A Dreamy Dinner at L'Orangerie, Airelles La Bastide de Gordes
Oh. my. Gordes. Said everyone who’s ever been to Gordes and captioned a photo on Instagram. But the hype does live up. Gordes is one of the quintessential provencal towns for a reason! In fact, on our last trip to the French Riviera I had made the mistake of sending us to Gordon, France, when really what I meant (and unfortunately a quick google search would have suggested) was the charming hilltop village of Gordes! We still managed a countryside picnic back then, a palatia

Grandmillenial Bliss in Avignon, France
Avignon is the one of the largest and most established Provençal cities in the northern region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. For most people, Provence is considered the more northwest, countryside of the region where many small villages are relatively clustered near one another, as you can see on my map at the very bottom of this post. Avingon is also an easy place to arrive to by train as we did right after our flight on the TGV fast train , an easy 2.5 hour ride through th

The French Riviera, Côte d'Azur Guide
The French Riviera, also known as the Côte d’Azur, makes up the sparkling blue coastline of the South of France which includes many fabulous beach towns ranging from Monaco (it’s own country technically but very French) to Villefranche-sur-Mer, Menton, St. Jean Cap Ferrat, Nice, Antibes, Cannes, Saint Tropez and ending for the most part in Marseille. It is essentially the coastline of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, which includes Provence just a couple hours north fro

South of France Summer
We are in France for our fifth wedding anniversary and my 35th birthday celebrations so naturally lunch with a view at Hotel du Cap was a high priority on the docket! If you don’t know already, Hotel du Cap-Eden Roc is the gem of the French Riviera, with it’s glistening views of the ocean, pristine grounds and an infamous cliffside pool reserved for only hotel guests and visitors from neighboring mega yachts who want to take a shot at the olympic looking hoops suspended o

My 35th Birthday in Provence, La Bastide de Marie
Just turned 35 but was born 50 . What a year; it feels like my official coming out following an extended pandemic stress, health scares, building my private practice, starting to travel again and watching my baby grow into a preschool aged, talking toddler, the most exciting perhaps of them all. The last five years have been a whirlwind since I turned 30, got married to the love of my life, remodeled our first home together, adopted our girls and birthed Parker! Everything in

A Colorful Console Table
It only took us five years to finally add a console table in our living room and honestly it was worth the wait! Our house has so many grays, marbles and blue tones that it desperately needed some warmer elements to brighten the open space. In addition to candy colored trinkets I also wanted more functional storage for the millions of toys Parker has accumulated in his three years so far, so additional cabinet space was an absolute must. Luckily we found the easiest solution

Summer Tablescape, Inspired by Italy
Summer is in full swing and I have the plates to prove it! This 4th of July was a lovely day on our rooftop patio with a mix of both American and Italian classics, like fresh pesto pasta, olives, spritz and buffalo mozzarella, as well as fresh veggies and burgers on the grill, topped off with a visit to the local gelato shop to commence the lazy holiday at home. The weather was perfectly bright and sunny, our toddler beyond ready for bath and bed right on time, my husband and

Big Bear City Guide
One of the most ideal perks of living in Los Angeles is it’s close proximity to other beautiful places, such as Montecito, Palm Springs, Oak Glen, Carmel by the Sea, Napa and San Diego; the list goes on and on. But one you might not be as a familiar with is snow capped this time of year with three resorts to ski down and a charming little village in the city center and only 90 minutes away. Big Bear is a small year round-resort town in the mountains with a beautiful lake and
