My Birthday Gift
Here we are again in deep summer, hopefully at the pinnacle of fun for everyone and more importantly close proximity to my 33rd birthday! I’ll admit it’s a privilege to be a Leo, born right in the midst of everyone’s general seasonal happiness so to speak. Everyone is ready to celebrate or traveling somewhere fabulous, making this time of year for me one that’s based less on reflection and perhaps more on indulgence? And this year’s gift guide is reflective of that as I splur

Sunset Spritzing In The Palisades
Ciao ciao, cin cin, we are spritz-ing in the Pacific Palisades! As you know my love for all things Italia have only grown stronger since living abroad in Verona and returning back with Arthur to Positano and Capri. As eager as I am to continue eating my way through Italy I am more than grateful for the chance to keep my Aperol infused spirits alive and well with yet another Italian restaurant that certainly tops the chart. Angelini is a well established eatery located farther

My #Grandmillennial Travel Wishlist: Italy Edition With Bond And Grace
For many un-fun reasons this won’t be a big summer of travel for me so I am doing what I tend to do best, wanderlust from afar! 4th Of July Fun
Back t o the beach and back into that familiar feeling of summer again. What has always been my favorite season gets jumbled in LA given we are just so overprivileged with year round sunshine and so we forget to embrace the longer days and later sunsets until bam, it’s the 4th of July. A holiday I’ve come to get more excited about ever since the realization that I could swap a hot dog for a lobster roll. And so to mark the occasion a little trip to Shutters on the Beach, an e

Chic places: le tropical hotel st. Barts
Fun fact, we almost stayed at this chic little hotel reminiscent of Palm Beach in all it’s glory yet set in the Caribbean on the little French island of St. Barts . The only barrier being that the reservation was non-refundable, hence why we choose Villa Marie instead. And while I was very pleasantly surprised with our choice, I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t want to stay in this little pink boutique hotel again next time. Thus it was high priority for me to find any r

Chic places: villa marie st. Barts
We came to St. Barts as an extension of our trip to Florida for a wedding , excited for a our first big getaway from Parker and eager to explore the buzzy island. We arrived on the little plane a bit shaken by the rainy weather and steep landing, but happy to find our hotel’s valet waiting for us with a big smile and bright personality, in addition to two substantial yellow striped umbrellas. As he drove us up and into the rolling hillsides that make up this teeny island

What i wore in st. Barts
Shopping for St. Barts was extremely exciting given I wasn’t fully confident we’d make the trip. I’ve been wanting to visit this chic little island for so long and there were oh so many hoops we had to jump through to make it all happen from childcare for our bébé, to covid testing, to booking multiple flights and coordinating international travel for the first time in a few years; it was a lot! All the details on how to get there, here . (also feather dress pictured above,

Le Weekend In St.Barts
I’ve been wanting to visit this chic little Caribbean island for years! Saint Barthélemy, commonly referred to as St. Barts, is a slice of fanciful heaven in the French West Indies, a territory of France known for being absolutely fabulous. Everyone speaks French and everyone working in hospitality is from France, essentially making St. Barts a tropical version of Saint Tropez. The island is small and exclusive, most likely because it can be challenging to get to {how to get

Flocking Fabulous
I’ve never been one to hop on board with all the trends but birds of a feather do fly together and this one sings directly into my heart. And you know I love a detail! Feathers will always be chic, even when blending in with the local fauna in Florida. And that I did at my sorority sister’s wedding in sunny Islamorada. After searching long and hard for something with ruffles and flow I decided to veer off the beaten path of most beach weddings and just go for a trend I’ve be

Spring Afternoons
Well there’s nothing quite like a walk around three in the afternoon during the misty months of March, April and May. Add a vanilla almond latte into the mix and you’re golden. This is always the time when the sun tends to shine its brightest after an unpredictable morning of weather, as I was acutely aware of growing up in Chicago, tucking my thick puffy coat from the morning away into my backpack once school was let out at 3pm. And even here in relatively sunny Los Angeles

The Mother's Day Gift Guide
Mama holds a lot more meaning since my first Mother’s Day last May, but I’ve always been eager to celebrate the woman I get to call mom. Motherhood continues to feel so much less than what pop culture portrays it to be, the reality being that despite every mom’s individual ability to create her own magic so much of our success depends on our access to resources. In addition to having family to help regularly and a true partner/co-parent in my husband, I consider myself extrem

The Valentine's Day Gift
The holiday of all holidays for me is finally here. I can’t exactly explain why I love Valentine’s Day so much but I suspect it has something to do with the perfect post holi-daze timing and pink color scheme in the dead of winter. Perhaps it’s the promise of a second chance at romance or fun after we’ve all been overstretched, overspent and dare I say a bit disappointed? Plus the pastels sit well with pink and get me excited for Spring to finally sprung brightening all our

The Aprés Edit 2022
The good news is I made it down the mountain in one piece. …I did take the orange net with me. And I can guarantee you I looked good doing it. Well we made our first trip away from le bébe two hours away and into the snow of all places! Big Bear has always been in the back of my mind since moving to Los Angeles ten years ago . I was baffled a place like this could exist so close to the year round sunshine. Snow just two hours away? Skiing just two hours away? I’m starting to

Autumn And Winter Inspo Board
The holidays are finally behind us and now is the time I like to fully indulge in winter magic. Whatever that means at least while living in year round sunshine in Los Angeles. The reality is that wintertime can no longer be cherished come Fall thanks to global warming and after October when the holidays tend to take precedence. Those cozy, cold afternoons don’t realistically appear in a relaxing way until the celebration season has subsided and we all our left with our swea

Birthday Launch At Ivy At The Shore
My mother is a New Year’s Day birthday baby, making each January 1st since the age of sixteen dare I say- challenging. But this year I have a baby so suffice to say I was more affected by the mound of mac and cheese my husband made and lack of sleep staying up past midnight the night before this time around. And fresh off our trip to Palm Springs my mother I snuck out for a little celebratory lunch at the most resort-worthy of destinations in Los Angeles and a favorite of min

The Resortwear 2022 Guide: Sun, Spa, Sip In The Desert
Well I knew this year’s resortwear guide would likely hit different, as last year’s required a not so effective coverup {pun fully intended} of my now eight month old delight. Le bèbè and le covid which will never sound chic no matter how many French words you put with it, have been perhaps the biggest barriers to finding sun in an exotic locale these last few years. But don’t you fret. I live in Southern California, thank goodness. When I asked my mother if she’d rather

A Cozy, Cudduly Christmukkah
Thank you again to Seth Cohen of the OC for bringing my holiday traditions into the cultural zeitgeist with one simple word: Christmukkah . As a little kiddo I felt like I had the best of both worlds, despite other people’s sheer confusion and personal issues with the concept of bringing both traditions together. Still to this day I can see the shock on peoples faces when I tell them I celebrate Christmukkah. But is it not representative of what our country is meant to be, a
